I began doing yoga at home, watching videos, afraid I would look like a fool going to a class and doing it wrong. Many years and three children later, a friend talked me into attending a class and I was amazed at how absolutely at home I felt there. Yoga has helped me through many of life’s ups and downs, a truly faithful friend. Having had so many inspiring instructors I decide to become one myself—right here at FocusOm—and now I am thrilled to be able to share my love of the practice with others.
My classes utilize flowing vinyasa, balance and weight-bearing exercises to increase flexibility, strength and peace of mind. I want my students to be able to let go of whatever it is they’ve carried in with them and allow themselves to be guided through a rewarding, meditative practice while learning proper alignment and breathing. You will leave my class feeling calm, centered and rejuvenated.
